moin, bin gerade ueber einen trailer von
einer der charaktere sagt darin:
"wir muessen der welt zeigen, dass wir nicht alle so sind wie er. sonst wird das fuer immer hitlers deutschland bleiben."
dass amerika deutsche geschichte aufarbeitet zeigt mal wieder die wirren der globalisierung, aber der satz steht im raum.
immer wieder sehe oder treffe ich auf rechtes gedankengut und ich frage mich jedesmal, was in den koepfen der leute abgeht.
habe in der schule auch nicht viel ueber das dritte reich und die nazizeit gelernt, aber dafuer in der gemeindebuecherei und auch sonst ein paar sachen dazu gelesen oder mich halt anders schlau gemacht, z.b. hier: link.
nicht zuletzt habe ich meine grossvaeter erlebt, welche beide im WW2 involviert waren.
habe mir also meine meinung gebildet (lange bevor ich BILD las). in kurz zeigt das dritte reich mir, wie leicht manipulierbar massen von menschen sind, wie erfinderisch, perfide, grausam und lieb menschen sein koennen.
komplexes thema. als pazifist sage ich "jedem das seine. mir das meine."
hab gerade nicht die zeit, mehr dazu zu sagen.
gleich los, nen neuen job anfangen.
geld waechst ja nunmal nicht aus baeumen und trotzdem brauche ich es hier zum leben.
und ihr habt ja wahrscheinlich auch schon eure meinung...
wer bin ich, daran zu ruetteln?
zum schluss noch ein link zu einem buch, welches meine realitaet veraenderte.
und die fragen an euch:
wie stehe ich zu meinem vaterland?
kann ich stolz sein, deutscher zu sein?
nutze ich mein potential?
wird deutschland seiner verantwortung gerecht?

that sentence made me thinkin bout how good they did?!
again and again i meet people (not necessarily germans) which are thinking Hitler did a good thing.
i would like to see whats going on in these ppl's heads...
but i've met people from all over the world, even an iranian guy.
and a greater percentage of them was asking me about hitler as soon as i mentioned that i am a german...
the 3rd Reich is still a popular topic, despite the fact that we have enough other challenges in this world today.
some did ask, when i've met Hitler the last time, some assumed i am a nazi...
most of the time i've just asked back what bad thing their country did in the past.
then i told them, what i knew about WW2 in fact and what my personal point of view is.
my granddads both fought in that war, i've read some (not necessarily in school....), or i used different ways of gaining knowledge, e.g. link.
a good book to read is this -> link
i read it in german as a teen and it took it's impact in my world.
with this book being just a little piece of the big puzzle that is my world for me, i made up my point of view.
the "3rd Reich" shows me once again how easily groups of people can be manipulated.
and it shows how intelligent, how cruel and how capable of love we humans are.
it's a complex topic, and i'm running out of time. have to apply for a new job, since money is a necessary thing to live in this german world where i am right now.
in short:
i'm a pacifist. i think a different world is possible.
"be and let be" is one of my sayings...
so i finish here with some questions for you, wherever u come from:
am i proud of my country?
can i be proud?
am i using my full potencial?
is my country using its potencial?
these are not really related questions, they are more like stepstones
